Removal Of Tree Roots

The disruption of tree roots can cause serious blockages and in some cases it can cause drains to collapse.

Tree roots can be removed from the drains by a high pressure water jet but if the roots are too strong for this technique we have specialised root removal equipment for the more larger and stubborn roots. We can also offer the option of relining the drain once the roots have been removed which will prevent roots from re-growing in the future.

Most people don’t know they have tree roots in their sewer line until the sewer backs up into the home. With modern technology used by most professional drain cleaning companies, the equipment allows us to find out what’s wrong with your pipes without doing any excavation or damage to your landscape. We can use CCTV surveys to locate the problem. We’re able to see exactly what is causing the blockage and see if you have tree roots in your sewer line on the screen.

Can Tree Roots Brake My Serwer Line?

Yes, tree roots will break the sewer line and at some point will collapse the pipe. It’s difficult for most people to imagine a tree root breaking a sewer pipe, but one of the biggest problems we find with clogged or broken lines has to do with tree roots. The problem is that most sewer drains are made of clay or material that is not fully sealed. When a pipe is not completely sealed, it will develop cracks or breakages that allow roots to find their way in. Once the roots enter the sewer line, they grow larger in diameter and crack the pipe. it’s important to remove them as soon as possible to avoid larger problems in the future.
